License information

Here you will find information on the types of license rights available for all of Russian Media Bank products and rights.

Rights Managed (RM)

Rights managed products (images and footages) are licensed on a use-by-use basis. The fee for using the product is calculated from several factors including Territory, Format, Duration of use, Size and Placement, duration. At the time you order a Rights Managed product, you will be asked to submit information that will specify the usage rights to be granted including EndClient information. You can request a prices for RM products when contact our sales representative. Exclusive rights are available for purchase for some RM products.

Royalty Free (RF)

Royalty Free products (images and footages) may be used by EndClient multiple times for multiple projects without additional payments to Russian Media Bank (fees). Royalty Free pricing is based solely on the file size of the product needed by EndClient, not the specific use. You don't have to pay any additional fees on a use-by-use basis. However, as with all RF licenses, the Use rights granted are non-transferable and are personal to EndClient. Royalty Free licenses are always non-exclusive.

Editorial Use

Editorial rights are licensed on a use-by-use basis. Use in an "editorial" manner means use relating to events that are newsworthy or of public interest. If you wish to use an image or film from our editorial collection for a non-editorial use, you must contact our sales representative to assist you.

Music

Music is licensed on a use-by-use basis. The fee for using the product is calculated from several factors including the Territory, Media, Use format and Duration of use. At the time you order a music product, you will be asked to submit information that will specify the usage rights to be granted to EndClient and you may contact a sales representative for assistance to determine an exact price.
